Botox for Treating Wrinkles
& Expression Lines
Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport work by smoothing wrinkles and expression lines by reducing muscle contraction. They can also lift areas of the face by weakening muscles that work together to make facial expressions.
Injections typically last three to four months depending on how your skin responds to the treatment and the area being injected. The injections are virtually painless and feel like nothing more than a tiny pinch.
Treatments are safe and you can resume normal activities immediately afterward. You may experience slight swelling or redness which does not last long. Slight bruising can occur but this can be covered with the use of a mineral make-up concealer. You may also experience a slight headache after injections.
*Botox, Xeomin, and Dysport should not be used by anyone that has an allergy to Botulinum Toxin ingredients, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have any neurological disorders.
